These people take it upon themselves to go even slower (yes it is possible to drive a car slower than 15 MPH) and almost approach the toll as if they are actually paying a toll taker. When driving behind a vehicle that makes such a slow approach to the EZ Pass booth it's really tough to not drop some form of explicit language. </div><div><br /></div><div>Another toll-both conundrum: switching lanes at the last minute to get to the correct lane. In New Jersey, there are EZ Pass lanes, exact change lanes, and cash lanes (if you need change). The signage usually starts about two miles before toll-booth, but some people like to wait it out until about 200 yards. </div><div><br /></div><div>Proposal? Raise the speed limit for the non-express EZ Pass lanes to 25 MPH. There is already technology that allows the tags to be read at speeds upward of 80 MPH.
